Build an eCommerce site that integrates fully with back office operations
Energise for Life wanted an eCommerce site which expanded their market reach and provided a richer feature set. It had to deliver greater efficiency, have a fresh, modern look and synchronise with Amazon and eBay. Crucially, it also had to integrate seamlessly with all back office systems.
Analysis quickly established the existing Quick Cart Pro platform would not deliver on Energise’s needs. The recommendation? Magento – the most flexible and powerful eCommerce option.
Design market-expanding modules and facilitate international trade
The new Magento website incorporated Energise’s in-house graphics work, creating a sleek, modern site which reflected their healthy image.
In the days before Magento API plugins, Cohesion Digital created custom modules enabling integration with Amazon and eBay. The platform was also designed to incorporate telephone ordering. The new site’s omni-channel marketing was further developed by a custom module delivering multi-currency functionality which accounted for the varying exchange rates between banks. The Magento integration of Hitachi Finance also added flexibility and affordability to the purchasing process.
Working with a third party developer, Cohesion Digital helped facilitate the Magento integration with Mamut, unifying website and back office operations.
